Text Box: The Antique Engine Shop
Vashon Island, Washington
Text Box: Last updated October 3rd 2009

I’m back! We’ve moved into our new house & new shop! Many engines have left to help fund the new house and shop but several more have also shown up! Hopefully we’ll be updating the site soon with pictures of the new engine and shop! Stay tuned….

This site is dedicated to my collection of old gas engines and other related items.

Click on any of the links in the column on the left to go to those pages. Click on any picture on any page to see a larger view.

In the “Old days” these engines were used for a variety of tasks, from running a washing machine to cutting wood or pumping water. Many of the engines like these were destroyed in the scrap drives for the War effort of WW2.

Most of my engines came from here on Vashon Island and the rest were found not to far from here.

A big thank you needs to go to the following:

My Grandpa Gene Sherman

My Good friend Gene Brady

My Wife Karie son Emmett and new daughter Olivia

And a lot of nice people I have met along the way!

And finally Jim Dunmyer for hosting this site and many  others!
